This evening saw the first of the 2 Open subject competitions of the season. With an entry of 90 plus photos, split evenly between printed and projected images. The judge, John Ashford, had his work cut out.
With everyone waiting in anticipation for John’s verdict on their photographs. Few were left disappointed with every photograph being marked well and the excellent comments provided on all photographs.
With Glen Collett producing 2 of the judges favourite images. Other members scoring well included, Catherine Clark, with her wildlife images and Ronald McKinnon with his Starlings.
Well done to everyone who entered and remember the hand in date for the Portfolio competition is Wednesday 4th November 2009.
