Forty. That is combined score for 2 photographs entered by Jo Davies in Octobers Open competition. She received the perfect scores on the print called “Harvest Mouse” and the projected image called “Male Kingfisher”. Well done to Jo on for 2 outstanding photographs. The two others images she entered also received credits.
Male Kingfisher by Jo Davies

Jo’s images obviously made a strong impression on the evening’s judge, Phil Downie. I’d like to thank Phil, on behalf of Inverness Camera Club, for standing in at the last minute to do the judging. His comments were, as always, very constructive. Phil is always welcome at the club, with his friendly personality and interaction with the club members making for a very entertaining evening.
Mike Tibbs and Ricky Fraser both walked away with 4 credits and they take the joined lead in both MacLoed Quaich and Stephens Brae Trophy competitions. With 3 rounds to go this will be interesting to see who the eventual winner is. The competition in the Harvey Shield is equally as tight, with only 1 credit covering the top 4 places and 1 credit behind are another 7 club members.
