Changes to email entries to competitions
Due to the time scales involved in preparing the competition entries and delivering the entries to the judge at a convenient time, the window that email entries will be accepted needs to be changed.
Email entries will now only be accepted from the Sunday before the hand in date published in the competition booklet to the end of the club meeting on the date of the hand in night published in the competition booklet.
For all other forms of entry, please submit to the competition secretary on the hand in night published in the competition booklet. Please note that no late entries will be accepted.
Digital Copies of Prints
With the exception of the portfolio competition, when entering a print in to any of the club competitions, you need to send a digital copy of the print to the same email address as for digital entries. This allows us to show a true representation of the print on the projector, for the judge to reference, during the competition evening.
The rules and time scales for submitting the digital copies of print’s is the same as for the email entry of digital images however please state in the email that the attached images are copies of prints.
If there is no digital version of the print, then please inform the competition secretary at the time of hand in.
Inverness Camera Club Logo Survey
Following recent suggestions to the committee to source embroidered clothing with the Club name the question was raised as to the ongoing suitability of the Club logo.
The purpose of this survey is simply to establish the member's view of the current Club logo. The result of this survey will help the committee decide if the current logo is to be retained or an update or replacement sought.
Please note your response is entirely anonymous and it would be very helpful if as many of you as possible completed this ONE QUESTION survey.

Group Outings
There has been a number of members asking if the Club organises Group Outings. Whilst there are no formal outings planned many members get together throughout the year to share travel costs or for the companionship whilst going out and pursuing their photographic activities.
We would remind members that the Club web-site has a forum which can be used for this purpose and the more that announce their intentions the more likely it will be that such groups are formed.
