On Wednesday 28th September the winner of the Inverness Camera Club Photographer of the Year 2011 was disclosed in a presentation by competition Judge Fin Macrae.
Club members fought throughout the 2010/2011 monthly competitions to win the right to enter this competition. Only 10 photographers qualify. The set subject this year was "Shadowlands" and as is customary was chosen by the judge at the end of the session giving the entrants from June to September to take and select their shots. Photographs taken earlier are not elegible for entry.
This criteria reduced the entry field to that of 6 photographers however it was the entries from Mark Logan that caught the judges attention and gave him the win. Fin was at pains to pint out that the top three were very close and we presnt below the portfolios from the top three photographers for your viewing.
